This course provides students with an introduction to manufacturing, including facilitating safe work practices in industrial environments and controlling and improving quality in a manufacturing setting. The course also covers fire safety, pressurized gases, electrical hazards, and safe machine usage. Students will examine Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) policy.
